tikka charcoal grill, an asian fusion restaurant in new york, whose architecture recalls the marine ecosystem merges an international scenario with italian craftmanship creating a playful environment. this project blends contemporaneity and authenticity giving life to a versatile ambience suitable either for an intimate dinner or for a formal event. Viabizzuno lighting confers coziness and charm to the venue, embracing the customer dining experience in a warm atmosphere. the greatest challenge that olbos studio had to face, was to create “interchangeable environments” and this issue was tackled with a creative architectural solution as through moving curtains with the support of Viabizzuno lighting solution. The combination of m1 micro fully retractable to light up the restaurant counter and the technical n55 diffusers to set flexible scenarios all around the restaurant was the equilibrium found out to enhance the architectural layout. the one of a kind aspects of n55 diffuser are that it can be easily and quickly changed in 4 seconds, and it is a guarantee of durability and reliability since n55 lighting fixtures last 24 years with an estimated usage of 8 hours per day having an incredible energy saving with only 128 lm/w consumption. the choice of the colour palette is highlighted by the high-end quality of Viabizzuno light characterized by a CRI 98 with 1 step macadam ensuring light homogeneity to emphasize the fresh and colourful pattern typical of the mediterranean.
